How much does an animal license (tag) cost?: An annual license for a animal that is not microchipped is $75.00 yearly. It is owners responsibility to keep current. For a lifetime registration for an animal there is a $20.00 registration fee with proof of microchip, or $30.00 fee that covers the registration and cost of microchip. The Sallisaw Animal Control Officials are able to assist with microchipping your animal. All licenses can be obtained in the customer service lobby of city hall. Owner must provide a rabies vaccination record from a licensed veterinarian in order to obtain a license.
