Can a customer defer payment on a current bill if they are having a difficult time paying?
Yes. The City will work with customers by agreeing to deferred payment agreements. The customer should note that there are policies in place for these types of agreements and the customer must abide by those policies and the agreement reached.

A customer may have up to three pay agreements in one calendar year; and none of those can be in back to back months. Also, in order to obtain a deferred pay agreement, the customer may be required to make a partial payment. Note that the City will not agree to deferred payments on days that meters are being disconnected for non-payment.
