The City of Sallisaw has opened bids on the new splash pad to be located at Jay Reynolds Park.
On Monday March 11, the City of Sallisaw opened bids on construction of the new splash pad. The bids are being reviewed and a special meeting of the Board of City Commissioners will be held on Thursday March 14 at 11:00 am to award the bids.
The splash pad is a $300,000 project being funded by a $150,000 grant from the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department Land and Water Conservation Fund.
