The City of Sallisaw has completed a structural evaluation of the old Sallisaw High School property.
According to the structural engineer the existing walls outside of four feet from the rotunda are unsafe and present a danger to public safety. The engineer recommends removing the walls as soon as possible. The engineer feels the existing rotunda and four feet of walls on either side are safe provided some repairs are completed.
