The City has received several reports of dingy water. According to water plant personnel, this is caused by the lake "turning over". This is a fairly normal occurrence with most lakes, but has not occurred at Brushy Lake in the last several years. The problem is no longer present at the Water Treatment Plant, and should disappear as the water moves through the distribution system. The water is safe to drink and has no apparent foul odor or taste.
